Abstract
The BC Cancer Agency Tile Tales Collection tells of the powerful stories of cancer patients, their families, and care providers. This series of ceramic artwork tiles is on permanent display at Vancouver and Fraser Valley centres. The tiles adorn various walls in the Fraser Valley Centre and on the third, fifth and sixth floors of the Vancouver Centre as well as the John Jambor hallway on the main level. Cancer patients, their families, healthcare professionals and volunteers have created unique images on ceramic tiles to express their personal feelings and experiences with cancer. A tale or short description by the artist accompanies each tile. We have selected a number of these tiles to highlight the collection for you here.

Abstract
The Fifth Discipline, is based on fifteen years of experience in putting the book's ideas into practice. As Senge makes clear, in the long run the only sustainable competitive advantage is your organization's ability to learn faster than the competition. The leadership stories in the book demonstrate the many ways that the core ideas in The Fifth Discipline, many of which seemed radical when first published in 1990, have become deeply integrated into people's ways of seeing the world and their managerial practices.

Abstract
"Dancing with Cancer focuses on the creation of a positive and proactive mindset with which to face the specific challenges and stages of cancer. It combines the author's own experience of using what she calls Thought Work (including creative self-expression, healing energy work and meditation) with conventional cancer treatment in order to connect her intentions for healing to the everyday reality of a diagnosis of incurable bone-marrow cancer. The book offers guidance and inspiration not only to cancer sufferers as they undergo the various stages of treatment but also to those supporting them, enabling them to understand better the experience of the cancer patient as well as the possibilities of mind?body empowerment" -- Publisher
