Abstract
This is the multilingual version of this DVD. The audio of the DVD is in English, with subtitles in Korean, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
Eating disorders in the family can make meal times extremely difficult for youth, parents, and siblings. This video demonstrates strategies that can be used before, during, and after meals to provide structure and support for youth with eating disorders. The strategies presented in this video are supported by research and can help meal times go more smoothly, with less anxiety and fewer arguments, and at the same time, help youth to complete their meals.
Parents and caregivers share their experiences with four stages of providing meal support: meal planning, meal preparation, supported eating, and post meal.
The video includes scenarios demonstrating how parents and caregivers can use the strategies presented to provide structure and support during meal times to youth at home.

Abstract
Bulimia Nervosa is a serious illness with potentially life threatening complications. Coping with Bulimia Nervosa can be overwhelming for youth and their families. Youth with Bulimia Nervosa may appear to have no difficulty eating but may be hiding significant emotional distress and chaotic eating patterns, including periods of severe food restriction. These patterns can have serious physical and emotional effects that lead to bingeing and purging. Youth may feel very ashamed and embarrassed about this behaviour, which can push them to restrict even more, creating cycles of negative feelings and behaviours which can be very difficult to change. Structure and support from caregivers can reduce these negative feelings and make it easier for youth to manage their behaviour. In "Supporting Youth with Bulimia Nervosa: Helpful Approaches for Families" you will hear from parents and youth about strategies that they found helpful while recovering from Bulimia Nervosa.

Abstract
Visual supports help children and youth with autism, Asperger Syndrome and other special needs understand their world better and therefore help them function more independently. This resource goes beyond the familiar use of visual supports as schedules with children with disabilities to include information sharers, checklists/organizers, and visual behavior supports. Richly illustrated and user-friendly, the book provides parents with all the information they need to make effective visual supports specifically designed for their child using a variety of materials, many of them commonly found around the house. The book also takes into considersation that parents are usually stressed for time and therefore need effective solutions that don't require excessive time to prepare or implement.
