This is a program for educators to use to teach children about puberty. Each section can initially be taught to separate sex classes. Each picture card included in the kit has an individual objective with information and teaching questions on the back. Lesson plans include teaching strategies to supplement the use of the picture cards. These strategies encourage increased student involvement through the use of dramatic play, activities which require students to think and make decisions and demonstration and use of real hygiene products. Abstract
This picture book appeals to the visual strengths of students on the autism spectrum, with color photos of students demonstrating various social skills in the correct (and sometimes incorrect) way. The skills depicted are meant to be read, role-played, corrected when necessary, role-played some more and, finally, to be practiced by the student in real-life social situations. ?Thought bubbles? show what people are thinking during these interactions (not always what you hoped!). Practical, engaging, and down-to-earth, this is a valuable tool to help teens navigate the often-mysterious rules of social conduct in everyday situations.

Abstract
The Stacking the Deck program is an excellent evaluation tool designed to be used with any available game board to teach appropriate social skills to individuals with mental disabilities. Persons with disabilities can learn new skills, and increase existing ones while practicing appropriate social behaviours in a relaxed atmosphere. The program's social situations are derived from six areas of social behaviour: compliments, social interaction, politeness, criticism, social confrontation, and questions/answers.
