It is a helpful quick reference guide for use at the bedside for fetal tracing interpretation and when documenting. This 2013 version includes the fetal scalp lactate values used at BC Women’s Hospital to assess acidemia.

LEA Playing Cards (#A252500) are used to assess near vision. The child sorts smaller and smaller Symbols on the the cards until they cannot be recognized. Some children find it easier to place a 3-D PUZZLE piece on the matching LEA PLAYING CARD. They can also be used to stimulate amblyopic eyes. There are 64 cards with 8 cards in each of the following Symbol sizes: 16M (20/800), 10M (20/500), 6.3M (20/320), 4M (20/200), 2.5M (20/125), 1.6M (20/80), 1.0M (20/50), and .63M (20/32), at 16". There are two of each size of the four Symbols so the child can match pairs. Cards measure 1.60 x 2.75".
