This video helps children adjust to the rigors and intricacies of a mainstreamed middle school. As new and complex situations arise with the onset of adolescence, it is important for pre-teens to develop their ability to regulate their emotions and solve problems independently. This video provides strategies for students to use to work out organizational, social and academic difficulties. Fitting In and Having Fun: Tips for Middle School helps students identify detrimental behaviors, the rationale for changing such behaviors and concrete tips on how to improve.
