Abstract
These resources describe and promote a developmental approach to intervention that will provide the basis for future orientation and mobility. This approach is based on the premise that the foundation for O&M skills is built during infancy and early childhood. A variety of instructional strategies are used to convey content and build skills. The strategies include the presentation of current theoretical information and research findings, individual and group activities, vignettes, study questions for recommended readings, and practitioner-oriented handouts. Video CDs with video clips that emphasize the module content are also available.

The CDs included in this kit contain resources that accompany the print version. The resources are Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Videos.
MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
-PC compatible; at least Windows version 98 with a pentium processor speed of 100MHz. 16 megabytes of memory (RAM) and a quad-speed (4X) CD-ROM drive.
MINIMUM SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
Microsoft PowerPoint version 97 or higher is required to view the PowerPoint Presentation on the CD.
Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or higher must be installed on the computer and REGISTERED in order to view the PDF documents in this program.
Microsoft Word version 97 or higher is required to view the Word documents on the CD.
In order for the video in this program to play properly, Apple QuickTime Player for Windows version 4.0 or higher must be installed on your computer. QuickTime Player version 5.0 is available on this CD.
INSTALLATION
Insert the CD-ROM disc into the CD drive. Click on the Start button, select Run, then select your CD drive. Click on Browse. Set "Files of type" box to "All files." Select afolder and double-click on the desired file to open the file.
