Abstract
Spencer was diagnosed with Stage IV neuroblastoma at the age of six. Tracey and Steve did what most parents try to do: provide a fun and stimulating environment for their kids to grow in and reach their full potential. Foster did what brothers do: he offered up his bone marrow and rode shotgun in the all-terrain electric assault vehicle. Scupper did what sinister Portuguese Water Dogs do: he tried to eat the house one piece of furniture at a time and displace the "owner" from his spot in the bed. And Spencer? Spencer played soccer, sailed boats, built windmills, skipped a lot of school and developed a serious teenage drug habit. Along the way, Steve wrote this deeply personal, hilarious, and utterly moving collection of stories. They spilled out of his brain and onto the keyboard as there is not enough room for happy optimism and utter terror to coexist. I'll Shave my Head Too is an incredible balance between readability, humour, and emotional impact.

Planet Cancer is an honest, down-to-earth guide to living in this new world, from Diagnosis to Post-Treatment. Each chapter is informed by Planet Cancer’s voice—authoritative, funny, friendly, no-nonsense. Experts address issues from all sides around bedrock “What It’s Really Like” essays: deeply personal, unflinching, and often hilarious pieces written by people who actually experienced on Planet Cancer things like banking sperm, adopting a child, or undergoing brain radiation. The book, enlivened with quotes and real-life stories from Planet Cancer members, gives the uninitiated a sense of community and removes some of the mystery and fear of the unknown.

Abstract
When Sara Taylor was diagnosed with a rare and deadly form of cancer at age 23, she went looking in cancer agency libraries for answers and for resources that would address the particular issues that she faced, as a young adult dealing with a life-threatening illness. Almost everything she found was targeted at patients decades older than she, people who were at very different stages in their lives - professionally, socially and emotionally. The result is the documentary film, Chasing Rainbows: Young Adults Living With Cancer – a dynamic, intimate portrait of six young people who are “living life while fighting for it”.

Abstract
This A Lion in the House program shows the enormous burden that cancer puts on any family. It also brings to light the particular impact on families headed by single parents, uninsured or underinsured families, and people in communities where resources are scarce and support is difficult to obtain. Cultural and socioeconomic differences can increase the barriers that families face while they grapple with the physical and emotional tornado of childhood cancer. It reveals the work lives of dedicated healthcare providers and educators struggling to address the enormous needs of young patients, families and other caregivers.
