Abstract

What's a typical day at school like? There's a lot to do and it's a lot of fun! Children learn the alphabet, numbers, spelling, reading and writing plus singing a song, watch kids color pictures and play at recess. Dogs, birds and fish make great pets, but not elephants or sharks or tigers! Join John and meet the many cool creatures that share our world - inside our house, up in the air, down on the farm, deep in the ocean or in the jungle. Plus learn many animal sounds, from moos to meows. Age: 3+.

Abstract
In this book, Dr. Levine, one of the best-known learning experts and pediatricians in America today, explains that some students are strong in certain areas and some are strong in others, but no one is equally capable in all. Yet, many schools still hold onto the one-size-fits-all education philosophy. He shows parents and educators how to identify individual learning patterns, explains how they strengthen a child's learning abilities and help overcome the child's weaknesses, producing positive outcomes instead of repeated frustration and failure.
